<itunes:subtitle>In this episode we speak with Nick Grove, the Director of the Meridian Library District, regarding the petition to dissolve the Meridian Library District. A group of less than 100 local citizens filed the petition on the grounds of inappropriate content in the children's section of the library, lack of transparency in funding, and the removal of the public comment section of board meetings. Nick addresses these accusations and misinformation surrounding the issues, and we issue a call to the community to support the library district.

The public hearing on the petition is Monday March 20, 2023 at 6:00 PM at the Ada County Courthouse, first floor public hearing room. Registered voters are allowed to share their comments on the issue.</itunes:subtitle>
